It is an IAR 316 B helicopter, licenced Alouette III, made at Ghimbav Brasov, ROMANIA.
It is based at the Mures Clinical Hospital, being rented from the Bucharest Utilitary Aviation.
It covers the operations in Mures County; in the future the range will cover the neighbouring counties.
It coveres emergency transports on a national level. It is equipped for resuscitation and accident response, always having an emergency physician or an anaesthesiology and intensive care specialist on board.
The helicopter flies an average of 20 - 30 hours per month.
